Artist Eddie Jensen and I have a website dedicated to self-publishing a webcomic, and we are in need of someone with experience in webdesign or website programming to perform a number of tasks to improve upon it. What follows is a list of these tasks. It is appreciated that you use this list to make an estimation in regards to the time this will take you. We are proposing the fee of up to 200$, without knowing ourselves how long this task could take. In case of several aplicants we will chose based on previous work, proposed time estimate, and counterproposed fee.

Changes in overall layout:
Replacement of images, change in placement of buttons and addition of new buttons. We would also prefer to have the widths of our page layout represented I percentages. As of now it is represented by absolute values, which makes it harder to view on small devices.

The addition of a comment section:
We want all of our comic pages to be accompanied by a comment section (underneath the authors’ comments), with easy access for as many people as possible, maybe with the ability to sign in via facebook. We would like a system that is customizable and easy to maintain.

Added features to the cast page:
We have a page dedicated to the characters of our comic, but it is very bare bones at the moment. We would like the ability to easily add paragraphs dedicated to each character, accompanied by a picture.

Add space:
We have the permission we need to utilize spaces for ads in collaboration with project wonderful. We have however no experience with putting up such ads, so we need the proper arrangements required for such, including reserving the necessary space.

Twitter feed:
We also want to have a twitter feed somewhere on there.

We need the job done as soon as possible, preferably by the end of this month (October 2014). However a deadline is negotiable.

The website in it's current state can be found at www.grapplecomic.com/

You can contact me either via this thread, Deviantart messages, or by my email; haavard_hegg@hotmail.com

I realize I haven't been very active on DeviantART these past few years. I owe this to the fact that I'm attending college, and also that I've been more busy writing than drawing in my spare time. And what little I HAVE been drawing has mostly been scetches for comic-book scripts that I'm trying to get published. Recently however, I've also started a project with my friend t-k-.deviantart.com/ and I am happy to anounce our new weekly webcomic "Grapple Seed".

Grapple Seed follows the adventures of 13 year old Turner Trent, in a world where the earth's gravitational force repels everything excluding itself. Sounds confusing? Imagine a world where the ground is above you, while the sky lies beneath your feet, making life adapt in ways that prevents it from falling into the great infinity.

Young Turner is dissatisfied with his predictable life in the small rural area of Rootstalk Village. He wants nothing more than to experience everything the world has to offer, however exploration becomes difficult when any misstep means plummeting to your death. But suddenly one day things take an unexpected turn.

You can start reading the comic here: www.grapplecomic.com/?p=166

You can also follow us on facebook: www.facebook.com/GrappleSeed

and Twitter: twitter.com/GrappleSeed

Big thanks to everyone who checks us out.

And if you like it, and you want to, say, make som fan art or what have you, you can send it to fanart@grapplecomic.com and we will display it in our upcoming fan art section, where we'll also be putting up a link to your deviantart page, if you so choose. :)

It was a single-year college in the Norwegian countryside, called Bjerkely Folkehøgskole. Nothing too fancy. But mostly I've been studying comics by myself.
